After being a building contractor for 27 years, and several years as the President of a local Pony Club, I wanted to turn my expertise and craftsmanship towards the equestrian arena, with a grass root philosophy of maximising value for money whilst not compromising on quality and good workmanship.

I  started with the basics, developing a line of products that where possible, were multi-purpose, for different ages, stages and importantly budgets. However, as I am not a marketing expert, I started conservatively, and for the first 12 months I advertised with a local equestrian shop and made a jump range to be marketed and retailed through another business.

Now, five years on, my products and designs continue to reflect my philosophy, and continue to adhere to the basics of good sound design and workmanship. I also believe my  “try something new” attitude has brought an exciting fresh dimension into the equestrian arena.

We are truly riders for riders, as apart from years of involvement with Pony Club both my wife and I Hunt, ride competitively (albeit low key), and I am an active registered NZEF course designer.

So in the long remembered words of my own Pony Club instructor from Rangiwahia, prepare to trot, aaaannd Trot on....
